Grand Hyatt Shenzhen becomes China’s newest luxury resort

Recently, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts have announced the opening of the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen in Southern China. This brand new, 38-story resort is located in the Luohu District and is mixed-used with commercial development and vacation goers. The resort is home to 491 rooms with 53 suites and 48 long-stay serviced apartments with beautiful city views with top of the line amenities and only the most luxurious accommodations that Hyatt is known for.
All of the rooms come with automatic time-controlled curtains and a self-contained workstation with wireless, high-speed internet access. You’ll also find a 40” LED television and DVD player to enjoy your favorite flicks. There are also dual phone lines with voicemail and an iPod dock. The master bedrooms come with a king sized bed with plush bedding and a glass-enclosed marble bath with an invigorating rain shower.


The resort has a special penthouse on the 38th floor which is a 109-seat venue and includes a living area with a DJ booth, a full kitchen with a teppan hot plate, a private balcony, a terrace and a full illuminated bar. If you take a trip to the floor below, you’ll find the Bell-Vue restaurant. There they serve Western classics that are prepared for you at your table and you can enjoy exciting views of the city. If you’re in the mood for something different, you could try the delicious China Lodge which has 12 private dining suites, the fashionable La Terrazza or even 1881 which serves Northern Chinese specialties.
The sheer size of the Hyatt Shenzhen resort makes it a spectacle in itself. The event space alone spans 2,769 sq meters over three floors and offers a variety of options which can cater up to 1,410 guests. There is also a theater on-site which measures 468 sq meters and has an open show kitchen where 16 chefs can actually cook live and show off all of their culinary talents. Another exciting addition to the resort is the Shui Xianh, a Hyatt Pure Spa with 13 individual spa “houses” circling the central water feature. Each spa “house” comes with a private lounge area, a bathroom with shower and a pantry. This immaculate resort is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all of the luxurious accommodations that Hyatt is known for.
